Let’s do this.

First of all, thanks for visiting. You’re all busy people with lots to take care of, certainly with no shortage of links to click or sites to keep tabs on. Time and attention are two of the most fought-for commodities going these days. So seriously, we appreciate yours. Secondly, we’re really excited about this. This is such a rich opportunity for us to make some real chemistry happen. We have our official site–our business suit, if you will. It’s sharp, it’s tight, it fits perfectly. Everything in its right place (just like Thom said). This space, this is where the jacket comes off, the tie rests on the arm of the couch, and the drinks are free-poured. We’re looking forward to hanging out here: having genuine dialogue, telling stories, cracking jokes, listening to you, listening to music, sharing cool stuff, relevant stuff, pontificating, making fun of ourselves–and anyone else, if they deserve it.
We look forward to loosening our collars here, coloring outside of the lines a bit more, interacting, trying things, and connecting more deeply with people. Openness, honesty, character, and interaction are the present and future of brand experience, and we’re nothing shy of thrilled about exploring all of these things with you.
Lest you think we’re just a bunch of Mustang Sallies, we’ll say this once: we believe–and are proof–that culture and chemistry are integral to our very serious side: doing great work for our clients. Love, guts, and trust. Chemistry. Without these things all of the talent, intelligence, and insight in the world amounts to mediocre work at best. We’re playing, but we’re serious about it.
We’ll have plenty here that relates to our industry and out clients’ industries. But it’d be pretty lame if we stopped there. Those subjects are pretty well-covered by now, the last thing this world needs is another dry, industry-centric blog. So expect to see us mixing business with pleasure, and maybe even a little leather.
Just to whet your appetite, here’s a taste of a few things we’re considering as upcoming posts:
- The RGB Revolution (and How it Could Make CMYK More Significant)
- In Search of… the Best Radiohead Album
- The Match of the Century: Nostalgia vs. New Ideas
If you have any ideas for things you’d like to see or discuss, let us know. See you soon…
Love, BZ
